Discovery Cove
Discovery Cove is an exclusive, reservations-only tropical paradise offering once-in-a-lifetime animal adventures. During a daylong visit, guest have the rare opportunity to swim and play with a beautiful bottlenose dolphin, snorkel in a coral reef with thousands of tropical fish and rays, hand-feed exotic birds, feast on a delightful meal and much, much more. It's a day of discovery and a lifetime of memories.
The highlight of a day at Discovery Cove is this rare opportunity to swim with bottlenose dolphin. This 45-minute experience begins with a brief introduction about the dolphins and how their trainers use hand signals and other means to communicate with them. Following this, small groups of 6-8 guests will begin their thrilling swim. Accompanied by a trainer, you will wade into the shallow water to become acquainted with your dolphin through hugs, kisses & rubdowns. Then you'll take your new friendship one step further - you'll be able to swim and play with the dolphin in deeper water. If things go really well you may even receive an exciting dorsal fin ride!
There is so much to see and do here it really is an all-day experience for swimmers and non-swimmers alike - tickets are available either including or excluding the dolphin swim. Discovery Cove is an "all-inclusive" day out - your ticket includes attractions as detailed below, free self-parking, breakfast, lunch, snacks & beverages, towels, lockers, wet-suit, snorkel gear, sunscreen & beach chairs.
The only thing you have to take is yourself & your swimwear!
